A striking hand-sized specimen of prehnite on matrix from Goboboseb, Namibia. A dark reddish-brown matrix opens into a natural cavity lined with pale green, translucent prehnite in rounded, botryoidal clusters. Smaller white to pale pink needle-like crystals fill the spaces around them, giving the piece real depth and contrast against the dark rock.
