The thin band is smooth for roughly half its circumference, then becomes a beaded section with small raised spheres running along both edges, leading up to the setting. A round faceted garnet sits at the centre in a deep reddish-orange, secured by a serrated bezel setting. Darker accents in the crevices set off the stone nicely.
