These crystal clusters come from Boekenhouthoek in Mpumalanga, one of South Africa's best known quartz and amethyst localities. Each piece is a natural cluster of crystal points growing from a common base, ranging from 12cm to 20cm across.

What to expect

• Colour varies from translucent clear and off-white quartz through smoky and warm orange-brown tones to pale lavender amethyst points.
• Points are naturally terminated and sit on the rough matrix they grew on, so no two clusters look alike.
• The cluster sent is a natural specimen in its own shape, colour mix and point formation, selected from the batch shown.
