A large polished selenite sphere, milky white to very light grey, cut and polished to a smooth finish. The fibrous structure of the stone gives it a silky, pearlescent lustre, with a band of light rolling across the surface — a cat's-eye effect — as the sphere turns. Fine natural striations and tiny dark speck inclusions are visible close up.
