Salrose rough from the Democratic Republic of Congo, sold as a single specimen of 80-90mm. The piece is a natural rock matrix, grey-brown with lighter beige and off-white patches, densely covered across the top and front with small, blocky, rhombic crystals in a deep, vivid magenta-pink. A handful of tiny dark and greenish specks sit among the crystals — the surface has not been polished or treated.
